VOXPOPS
This gave us more of an in depth idea of how our audience will respond to our film. Seeing as this is our target audience, their responses to our questions will help us make our film so that their response to our actual film is positive. These interviews also helped us understand our audience better… their preferences, their dislikes ect… It also helped us understand that our audience would be quite small as not many of our subjects have watched or were even aware of what an independent film is.
Ignore the last 2 minutes of darkness…

Media Survey Review
- This question showed us that there was a higher percentage of males that took this survey
- However another alternative reason is because i am male and my friends would be more likely to help me out in a situation such as a media survey
- The answers from this question show us that the majority of people interested in watching our film would be in the age group of 15 and 25
- This gave us an idea of what our target audience is
- This Question didn't really help us with our film, however it showed us how frequent our age group watches movies, giving us an idea of how likely they are to watch ours
- Similar to the above, this showed us how successful our film would be
- This shows that our target audience would go to the cinema to watch our film
- These answers are surprising as it turned out that the majority of our target audience will watch our film online
- this question gave us an idea of what sort of film genre we want to use when making our film
- Again, this gave us certain aspects of thrillers that we want to use when it comes to our film
- This gives us an idea on what we should be basing our movies around. Seeing as our target audience has seen these movies, we should consider the camera work and plot development used in these movies.
- This shows our target audience would be interested in our film and people will watch, giving us the confidence to make it.

Audience
-Certification 15
-Target audience 15 – 35

-This violent introduction suggests further violence later in the movie
Narrative / Plot / Pitch / Outline
-Opens with the sound of footsteps – tracking shot of
walking feet – camera rolls up the body to reveal the man is wearing a suit (Guy

man looks suspicious – standing in a shadowy area.
Camera cuts to an over the shoulder shot of Guy 2 typing on
his phone ‘2 minutes’. Camera cuts to another 2 men walking (Guys 3+4). One
receives the text and tells the other ‘2 minutes’. They exchange a small amount
of nervous dialogue to express their uneasiness. Camera cuts to a few more shots of Guy 2
following Guy 1. Extreme close ups of Guy 1s face are shown – beads of sweat
dripping – he is nervous. Guy 2 sends another text ’20 seconds’. Camera cuts to
Guys 3+4 putting on their hoods. Guy 1 walks into an ally way, swiftly followed
by guy 2 the camera is now shaky and tracks guy 2 over the shoulder. Guy 1 now
sees guys 3+4 standing at the end of the alley and starts to turn around but
gets hit by guy 2. The camera is now constantly moving and changing angles as
guys 2,3 and 4 surround guy 1 in a flurry of movement. Guy 1 is shown through
the legs of the other 3 getting kicked. A woman sees this and is shown calling
the police. After a short amount of time, the 3 men leave with the briefcase.
Guy 1 lays on the ground covered in blood and shouts after them ‘wait! You
don’t know who you’re stealing from’. The scene ends with a blurry POV shot of
